500 Miles
If we could walk 500 miles from the Gateway to Kent to the land of our forebears, we'd arrive in Stirling, Gateway to the Highlands. We'd need a couple of pints of heavy to quench the thirst. This would be it.

My Story
Westerham, or Oistreham as it is listed in the Domesday Book of 1086, comes from the Old English 'wester' meaning 'western' and 'ham' as a 'village or homestead'. It has been the western Gateway to Kent, the Garden of England, for over a thousand years.
