Alt Ego
Alt Ego was first brewed in February 2011 with a brewmaster from Germany and our head brewer Robert. We have revived this beer several times over the years and this is our latest iteration. The style is reminiscent of a sessionable Best Bitter with a German twist.
It is a Best Bitter's Alter Ego.

My Story
Altbiers are session strength copper coloured beers that are well hopped with traditional noble hop varieties. The term Altbier means 'old beer' and refers to the top fermented yeasts used to produce the beers, this being an older method than the new fangled lagers developed in the mid 19th century.
