Westerham Brewery is delighted to announce the launch of its Christmas beer. This year’s God’s Wallop is a FAIRTRADE beer, joining the William Wilberforce Freedom Ale as one of just three FAIRTRADE beers available on draught in the UK.

William Wilberforce Freedom Ale will feature in the Waitrose British Beer Showcase in every Waitrose store, standing alongside the Best Of British Beers

The pale bronze beer is complex, from aroma through to finish. The use of Demerara sugar – ironically widely used in Britain when brewers had estates in the Caribbean manned by slave labour

The Westerham Brewery is pleased to announce the launch of one of the only Fairtrade beers available on draught. ‘William Wilberforce Freedom Ale’ will be launched during Fairtrade fortnight, which begins on 26th February. Initially the beer will be available in pubs, clubs and restaurants in Kent, Surrey, Sussex and South London.

Silver Medal SIBA National Champion Bottled Beer

The Westerham Brewery is pleased to announce the launch of one of the few Fairtrade bottled beers available. Following the huge success of the draught beer launched in February for Fairtrade Fortnight, the brewery has decided to release the beer in bottle-conditioned form. The bottled version has an ABV of 4.8%.

The Westerham Brewery’s Little Scotney Pale Ale has been featured in the autumn advertising campaign for Waitrose’s local sourcing initiative.

The Westerham Brewery Co. in Kent will supply two bottled beers – Little Scotney Pale Ale and British Bulldog – to 13 Waitrose stores in the south east of England.
